Winners are awarded cash prizes to further their education and career.

Winners must create a budget before the money is transferred and afterwards produce receipts. USM may also transfer the money in tranches/bonds.
Promotion and Personal Development Support
Winners have an opportunity to show their work in various ways, including part of a USM furniture exhibition. This can depend on what events are possible during the second half of 2021. If the winner resides in the U.S., we will organize a collaboration with our partner, Joba Studio.

All finalists’ personal profiles will be shown here on our webpage with a short biography and a link to their individual webpages and social media channels (with each finalist’s agreement only). This gallery allows potential clients to browse for designers.
